Re: New UI Thread
What Geo said.
I have it mostly because I like the idea of scrolling combat text. I want to know what my spells are hitting for and what damage I am taking. However, I find a numbers moving across my screen to be a gigantic distraction. A little box I can glance at from time to time works much better. It makes for a cleaner UI.

Re: New UI Thread
Cool, I like that too. I've been trying to customize my UI a little better for my Druid because I plan to heal with it at 80 and have been trying to get a decent healer UI going. This is my first healer and I wasn't sure how to configure grid to show health percentages so I switched to Vuhdo for that purpose.

I have always thought configuring for % is a bad way to judge raid frames, after about a week of healing you will always know what your heals should hit for so having actual numbers helps alot when learning how to heal correctly, which will be real practice for cata since right now its LOLSPAMWOLKISCOOL.

Re: New UI Thread
thank you for the tip, I'll switch to total health instead then since its better to get used to doing it the right way then the wrong way from the get go.

Re: New UI Thread
Mokxy
I feel your party frames are excessive they take up a ton of space and give no more useful information than paraded down versions. Less is more when it comes to avoiding lakes of fire. If your UI clutters up your point of view you can’t see the shit that is about to smack you upside the head.

Mokxy, this is the 2nd screenshot I've seen of yours that has me saying something slightly stupid in raid chat.

Re: New UI Thread
Ok there are some crappy things with my UI. I need to redo my bartender keybinds so my SF, SR, SC, SV, ST are actually below my F, R, C, V, T. This was posted just as a quick request so they could look at it. I need to find a better place for my bags, and my auras. Additionally I dislike how the default chatwindow size is and need to fix that. I also need to figure out a better bind for S7-S=. I like my grid to my left, helps me not stand in fire.

Re: New UI Thread
viv i dont know much about other s classes, but i know mine asked me way to many binding, like 4 years ago , i decided to become better at this game , and stop being a clicker, i had to go learn about macros so i could reduce the number of click i had to push. but very short after, it became obvious this wasn t enough, i just had way to much button to make it simple. i found answer in the hardwear.
this is my keyboard
http://www.steelseries.com/us/produc...th/information
it have a very nice, easy to configure side panel
and this is my mouse
http://store.razerzone.com/store/raz...ctID.169418900
its a 17 bottons mouse, i have all of them configured to my liking, dumb prouf.

Re: New UI Thread
Vivy,
I also could never find a spot I liked for my bags. I ended up having them show on mouse over and 90% transparent otherwise. Also, do you use mouse over raid frames? For, example on my druid abolish poison is shift right click.
